MyRay adds another Red Dot Award to its hit list thanks to the excellence of the product design.
As the saying goes, good things come in threes. As if to confirm this saying, MyRayreceived the Red Dot Award 2018 for the excellence of its product design for the third time in 6 years. After Hyperion X9 in 2013 and Hyperion X5 in 2015, the C-U2 HD intraoral camera, featuring the innovative Macro Cap, once again won the Italian brand a prestigious international award.
Evaluated according to criteria such as innovation, industrial design, aesthetics and functionality, the product MyRay submitted to the jury explores a new dimension of intraoral imaging. C-U2 with Macro Cap is the latest state-of-the-art device by MyRay. It combines the excellence of an HD intraoral camera with the Macro Cap solution, which makes it possible to double the image resolution. The dentist can therefore detect possible micro-fractures up to 10 microns.
Besides taking the camera resolution from 20 to 10 microns, the Micro Cap is designed to be used at a distance of 1 to 5 mm and is a light guide that optimises the lighting of details close to the optical unit, which includes 3 extra lenses in high purity glass.
